Job Details:SUMMARY: Primary ongoing responsibility is for management of projects.
Focuses on meeting project commitments including communications with stakeholders etc.
Leads project team consisting of internal and 3rd party employees.
Provides broad level oversight to all aspects of the project.
Leads in the planning implementation and introductions of projects for new systems and technologies.
Has direct responsibility for project budget and resources.
Accountable for delivery of the project on time on budget and on scope.This position will be accountable for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects and ensures commitment to scope, schedule, and budget are met.
Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, manages schedule and key milestones, and summarizes project progress.
Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments contributing to the assigned projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Exercise fundamental sound project management techniques and workflow process when executing assigned projects.Build project plans using MS Project and WBS structures able to clearly outline objectives timing and risksEffectively manage project teams time and allocate resources to ensure deliverables are completed.
Communicate and align key resources at all levels of the organization on assigned projects.Track and monitor all project milestones and deliverables.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.Report out key project management metrics to various functions and levelsRequirements:Education/Certifications: BA or BS degree in computer science mathematics operations management or other related discipline.
Equivalent experience may be acceptable.Experience: 1+ years in the support, delivery, and coordination of IT projects.
Experience in Project Management and Agile methodology is a plus.Computer Skills: Must be proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, and MS Project)Communication Skills: Must be able to interact effectively across the organization including Senior level management.Special Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build successful partnerships with various IT and cross-functional teams.
Need to be a self-starter.
Should possess strong analytical, problem solving and executive reporting skills.
