Project Assistant

Description Mission: Follow clearly prescribed procedures to provide general assistance to project management staff involved in a variety of project management and related functions. Under specific direction, provide support for such activities as development of proposals and presentations. Main Accountabilities: Assist Project Managers in day-to-day administration of various projects. Activities include but are not limited to invoicing; shipping; generating transmittals; producing purchase requisitions/orders; filing (some electronically)Learn and use existing systems to provide information for various aspects of proposal and projects (tax, credit, order tracking)Generate reports as needed (routinely and ad-hoc)Raise to Project Manager's awareness of any areas behind schedule in the scope to be expedited.Perform mathematical calculations, organize data, prepare graphics and presentations and assemble data packages, applying own knowledge and experience toward the resolution of problems.Follow established procedures to maintain and update department files including contract data, standards, technical reference files and procurement documents.Requires basic knowledge and understanding of project management activities. Decisions are usually based on established precedents but will have some discretion and judgment.Knowledge, Skills, Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experienceB.S. in Business, Operations or related fieldAdvanced English and SpanishExperienced in SAPAbility to successfully interface with customers, suppliers and internal personnel to resolve project issues of equipment delivery and invoicing.Ability to research terms and conditions to resolve issues and questions#LI-Hybrid
