**ALTEN Mexico is looking for Project Chief Expert**
**General Activities**:
ACTIVITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Technical program management for one or more vehicle lines by being the key point of contact between the design team and all other functional areas such as vehicle program management, engineering departments and manufacturing.
- Responsible for ensuring that the systems meet all functional and performance requirements while meeting cost, weight, investment, timing, and quality objectives.
- Support Manufacturing/Product Execution in defining the correct assembly and test operations to guarantee the vehicle conformity to client's expectations and to conduct problem solving activities at the assembly plant from pilot phase through launch
- Provide strong support of concept studies, initial packaging, thermal system design, cost and weight analysis, prototype procurement, supplier management, sourcing, tooling kickoff, validation, launch, program maintenance, change management, value optimization, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate technical issue resolution pertaining to engineering and quality at all stages of the program and across all functional areas.
- During the launch phase, is the launch lead and key person responsible for triage and resolution of issues, while communicating status and managing resources.
- Define, share and update the vehicle development plan in order to guarantee the coherency of the vehicle behavior and the availability of the planned features at all stages.
- Release the Specification to all Suppliers and manage the Requirements Change Management process through Design Change Requests (DCR) to ensure the alignment of Requirements with Product Planning requests, bug fixes and feedback from Suppliers..
**Requirements**:
Education/Experience:5+ yrs of relevant engineering experience/ background on program execution and launch, product development, program/project management, design.
**Soft skills**:

**Technical Skills**:
- '- 5 yrs of relevant engineering experience/ background on program execution and launch, product development, program/project management, design.
- Engineering experience with an emphasis on automotive electronics manufacturing and OEM vehicle packaging.
- Experience with high attention software development and understanding of software architectures.
- Experience with embedded maintaining responsibility and accountability for timely results.
- Understanding of electric vehicle systems and common vehicle system interactions.
- Experience in DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) proactive and/or reactive quality tools
- Working knowledge of UG/NX CAD systems
- Experience in component costing (variable cost and investment)
- Understanding of electrical circuits, components, and their operating principles
- Experience with total vehicle testing including NVH
- Knowledge of Stellantis systems and/or products a plus
- Knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes including molding, stamping, welding, brazing, machining, casting, and coatings.
- High level of experience with MS Office tools
- Basic financial understanding with ability to maintain program budget
- DIAnalyzer/CDA (Diagnosis Analyzer Center) and CANalyzer practice
- Proven capability to develop parts/systems in co-design with third parties (Tier1s)
- Requirements Management / Change Management basics
- Possibility of traveling, valid passport, and visa preferable
