**Job Description**:
AECOM Mexico seeks Project Controls Analyst III BASED IN MONTERREY, NL, MEXICO
Functions
- Develops proficiency in the use of company financial systems.
- Provides cost data in formats necessary to control the project.
- Assists in analyzing and using financial data to identify key project issues.
- Uses drawings and specifications to create baseline budgets.
- Collects and analyzes data on manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations.
- Assists in tracking purchase orders and subcontract commitments and expenditures.
- Has knowledge and applies the earned value methodology.
- Assists in assembling data and preparing analysis for progress trends, cost impacts and forecasting.
- Supports the project reporting process as required.
- Supports the analysis and process of scope control and change management.
- Participates in project cost review meetings.
- Gathers data for procedure development.
- Understands financial terminology and measures the financial impact of various project actions.
- Develops knowledge of accounting principles.
- Collaborates in planning and scheduling processes.
- Collaborates evaluating performance management and cost/schedule integration.
- Participates in reviewing and approving contractor invoices.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- 4 years or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Experience
- Experience in transportation design projects (airports, highways, rail systems, and tunnels)
- Software experience including Oracle and Autocad
- 4 years' professional experience in Cost Analysis
- Advanced MS Excel experience (Pivot Tables)
Preferred
- English fluency (Level C1 or C2)
