The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the efficiency of the communications between the Fusion US team and the Aptar Mexico team, as well as other suppliers in Mexico.
The position also involves assisting in managing and organizing all timelines, milestones, technical information, sample and production lead times, and project documentation to ensure flawless execution.As a Project Coordinator, you will:Work closely with the Fusion US team to understand the requirements of the project, including timeline, sample request, production, and inspection.Collaborate with the Aptar MX team and other vendors in Mexico to ensure all requirements are met in a timely and quality manner.Work with Aptar/Fusion and the suppliers' quality team on continuous quality improvement through online and final inspections.Assist the vendors in making PPS (Pre-production samples), defect board, and range board.Assist the Fusion US team in auditing new suppliers.Anticipate potential issues that may occur and communicate with the proper departments to create an appropriate corrective action plan; offer recommendations and provide solutions.Help establish timelines for new product launches and ensure projects are completed in a timely manner; ensure each step of theagreed timeline is being committed to and completed by individual project contributors.Maintain updated and detailed project information and documentation in the Salesforce system.Identify process improvements that will result in simplified steps and efficiency gains for the company.Lead or participate in other assigned sourcing projects.Who we are looking for:Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in the beauty packaging industry, with rich experience in injection, decoration, mold, and assembly.Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with different scopes and requirements simultaneously.Ability to manage projects from inception to launch in a timely and quality manner.Thoroughly learn and understand Fusion's packages while being able to think outside the box.Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, serving as an example of proper communication to the team; strong communication skills are essential.Education:Bachelor's Degree in project management, packaging, engineering, or associated fields from an accredited college or university.Required Skills:Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must.5+ years of experience in a packaging support position in cosmetics, beauty packaging, or a related CPG environment.Domestic and US travel is required.Who We are:At Aptar, we leverage insights, design, engineering, and science to develop cutting-edge packaging technologies that enhance brand value for our clients and make a significant impact on people's lives globally
