.Purpose:The primary purpose of this role is to produce and assure the Quantity Surveying and Project Controls deliverables for the safe, efficient, and successful execution of a flagship offshore project in Trinidad and Tobago. The successful candidates will be based in the fabrication yards of Mexico and Trinidad during the construction and commissioning of the offshore platform.Accountabilities:Experience and QualificationsQuantity Surveying/Engineering Degree and/or Certification as a Quantity Surveyor or Construction Planning.Minimum 10 years industry experience in site-based QS/Project Controls positions.Proven experience in quantity surveying or cost & schedule management within the construction industry focused on gas & oil projects.Knowledgeable of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards.Fully versed with using P6 and Microsoft Office suite.Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.Strong skills in communications, consensus building across diverse teams, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement.Team player comfortable with handling high workloads and balancing multiple priorities and complex stakeholder interactions in a collaborative way.Project Progress MonitoringResponsible for tracking, verifying, and reporting of the physical progress of site construction and CSU activities on behalf of the Company.Evaluate progress on construction sites, measure and assess the Value of Work Done (VOWD).Assess and manage variations to the contract, including changes in scope, specifications, or unforeseen circumstances.Monitor Contractor performance and progress against approved schedule and budget, identify slippages with root causes.Provide necessary support to Company Construction team in verifying claimed progress and forecasts.Liaise with central Project Services and CP team and provide all supporting documentation for processing claims/back charges.Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure clear communication regarding cost and schedule-related matters.Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in quantity surveying, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the organization.ForecastingMonitor and report movements against the approved Schedule and Budget, plus analyzing and forecasting Key Milestone dates and Cost-to-go.Provide inputs on the latest forecast dates and cost to Company planning engineers and cost engineers for incorporation into the Company integrated schedule and budget reporting.Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project cost and schedule and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.Provide inputs and contribute to Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (CSRA) if needed.ReportingDevelop and maintain schedule progress reports at site including progress trend analysis, Performance KPIs, and Trend Based Forecasting
