As a **Project Engineer**, you will be responsible for the design and conceptualization of the investment projects required by the production plants, as well as the supervision and coordination of the activities of the participating companies during the execution stage.
The project engineer must attend to and anticipate deviations presented in the execution of the projects in accordance with the scope and specified times, complying with the standards, policies and requirements established by PPG.
This position reports to the Project Manager
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, conceptualize, validate and quote the scope of performance and installation of each of the assigned projects.
- Supervise the different companies for each project, as well as validate the work and services in accordance with the contracted purchase order.
- Generate the base execution program for the project from start to finish.
- Validate the specifications of the materials and equipment delivered for the projects.
- Report to the different management and directorates the progress, risks and prevention or correction actions in the execution of each project.
**Qualifications**
- More than 5 years of work experience in infrastructure project supervision activities
- Knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD
- Familiar with national and American norms, regulations, best practices and standards
- Ability to work with projects from various disciplines
- Chemical, mechanical, civil or similar engineering, non-industrial
- English language 60%
