- Job Description
- General Responsibilities- Participates in a project, from start to finish, or one phase of a large project, so that it is completed on time and within budget
- Assists with the implementation of an established project plan; monitors progress and performance against the project plan; identifies, resolves, or escalates operational problems and minimizes delays
- Coordinate the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
- Estimates the costs, resources, and time required to complete the assigned phase of an engineering project and monitor activities, allocate resources and assign tasks to ensure these targets are met
- Participate in project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
Experience / Qualifications- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
- Engineering career focused on manufacturing processes (Industrial, electronic, mechanical, etc.).
- English B1
- Desirable Experience >1 years:
- Manufacturing process (soldering, welder, dispensing, press fit, assembly, etc.).
- Problem solving.
- Core tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA)
- Software: Minitab, Solidworks, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PP, Outlook, Team, Project).
- Manufacturing process documentation.
- knowledge:
- Electrical functional test and electromechanical components
- Pneumatics and electronic.
- Six sigma (plus)
- Equipment and maintenance experience (plus)
