NELSON GLOBAL**Responsibilities**:Drive production development efforts for new customer products.
Analysis and development of manufacturing functions,capacities, and facilities needed to produce the customersproduct.Participate to drive the production development efforts for new customerproductsSet up ERP part number structures, routings, and BOMs for newproducts.Work with Manufacturing Engineers to design and structure the manufacturing work flows for newproducts.Responsible for the creation and update of related documentation (test procedures, assembly instructions, specifications,checklists, etc.
)Assist key personnel, project lead engineers, and/or Operations management in determination of work scope, tasks,schedules, andbudgets.This challenging position has a great deal of interaction with technicalstaff.Support EHS regulatory/environmental as required in the projectslaunch.Create process flow diagrams, where applicable, to aid with rapid understanding of theprocess.Work with programs including Autodesk Vault, MS Word, and visual-mapping software to document and storeprocesses.Partner with the Production and Manufacturing Engineering functions to lead pre-launch production trial runs andprocess qualitymonitoringDevelop product test plans and perform production test according manufacturing processinstructionsMonitor operations of product and evaluate designs and ensure adherence to all design and manufacturinginstructionsEnsure compliance to all Engineering Change Order procedures and workinstructionsAnalyze and recommend corrective actions for any design failureoccurrencesCoordinate NPI status reports and other appropriatereportsIt is responsible for knowing the procedures and Safety Instructions, Health and Environment applicable to thedepartment and Global ManufacturingPrinciples.Documenting newprocessesWorks closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Production, and EHS to take the assemblies from initial designthrough prototype development and into full production.
**Qualifications**:Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineerorrelated.3+ years of experience as a manufacturing working on mechanical or electromechanical systems and weldingprocesses.Ability to effectively employ standard methods and tools, APQP, PPAP (DFEMA, PFMEA, PFD, Control Plans, MSA,Capability Studies, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills.Proven working experience in design documentationdevelopmentKnowledge of IATF, ISO 9001 & ISO14001standard.English fluent -Business conversation.
