Project Engineer I

Baker Corporate Services provides engineering, operations, and accounting support to Baker Electric and Baker Electric Home Energy. Located in Tijuana Mexico, the BCS team will perform work that supports the successful completion of residential, commercial and industrial construction projects in the United States. **SUMMARY**: Baker Corporate Services is seeking a proactive Project Engineer I to join our team. This position is located in our Tijuana office. This position is critical to supporting our project management teams and ensuring the successful execution of various construction projects.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Verify and correct timesheet entries daily
- Review and collect T&M (Time & Material) ticket signatures
- Draft, submit, and log invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain thorough records of all invoicing activities
- Initiate and manage job setup in Spectrum
- Perform job setup tasks in Procore, ensuring all project details are accurately entered
- Verify and log payments into Procore
- Create and manage change events and change orders within Procore
- Upload and maintain project drawings in Procore, ensuring all documentation is current and accessible

**EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION**:

- Graduation from CETYs Universidad preferred
- 0-2 years experience in project engineering or a similar role in the construction industry
- Proficiency in project management software preferred
- Procore and Spectrum experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills
