Primary Objectives of the PositionThe Project Engineer is responsible for planning and monitoring productivity projects.
This role includes planning, executing, and monitoring project progress, setting deadlines, solving issues that arise, managing capital requests, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.Responsibility and AuthorityEvaluate project feasibility.Develop and Plan the Project Idea.Establish a deadline and monitor the progress of the project.Identify and resolve issues that arise.Ensure Stakeholder Satisfaction.Evaluate Project Performance.Develop and train on PM tools.Analyzes components and products using existing essential analytical tools and methods to improve existing designs, manufacturability, and expand existing product lines.Design and/or improve processes and products.Specifies basic standards for engineering and project management.Support Manufacturing and Commercial Operations groups as well as external customers in technical requirements involving Products, Components, and Engineering Specifications.Knowledge and skills requiredStrong .Ability to work independently.Ability to monitor and control and resources.Decision-making Skills.Essential Communication Skills on an International Basis.Essential Time Management Skills.Project Management.Knowledge in the machining of steel components, turning and grinding, and assembly.Strong problem-solving skills using institutionalized methodologies (8D, Six Sigma, etc.
