**Project Engineer - Layout**:
- Saltillo,Coahuila- Full Time- Working as an automotive layout engineer involves designing and developing the layout of various automobile components.
A combination of technical skills in engineering principles, CAD software proficiency, a deep understanding of automotive systems, and a keen eye for detail is crucial.
Additionally, staying updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements is essential for continuous improvement in automotive layout design.
- Specifications- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering
- 1-3 years of work experience in relevant area or function
- Should have experience in Layout Design especially in AutoCAD.
Roles & Responsibilities- Benchmark Current Material Flow / Logistic Areas and Best Practices
- Create workable layouts for, but not limited to: Trailer Yard, Trailer Pack Outs, Docks, Metering, Storage, Top Hatting, PIV charging, team areas, High Bay Racking.
- Field check material flow / logistics areas for all facilities to identify interferences and confirm countermeasures.
- Assist Material Flow IE with data processing and/or calculations.
- 5T Design, Layout and Implementation
- Installation Drawings
- Compile Material Flow Deliverables.
- Assist in the setup of material flow / Logistic areas.
- Basic Flow Planner Analysis

Creation of Euclidean maps

Creation of Route map
- KSA- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software (such as CATIA, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for creating and analyzing layouts, assemblies, and component designs.
- Understanding of automotive systems, including powertrain, chassis, electrical systems, and their interactions to optimize layout designs.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes to develop efficient and functional layouts.
- Ability to plan and optimize spatial layouts for components within the vehicle, considering ergonomics, accessibility, and safety standards.
- Capacity to identify and resolve design issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions during the layout design process.
- Good oral and written communication skills enabling interaction within all levels of the organization and/or with respective customers.
- Ability to organize, plan, and execute projects.
