**Summary**:
The Project Engineer/Operations Manager role plays a pivotal role in supporting the Engineering Department by overseeing day-to-day technical operations, leading project teams, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within the department. Their role is both technical and managerial, bridging the gap between the department's strategic objectives and the technical work performed by the engineers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day technical operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Drive project deliverables, maintaining quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Lead multi-discipline engineering teams in executing EPC/EPCM projects.
- Coordinate engineering workflows, facilitate interdisciplinary coordination, and develop project schedules.
- Present project objectives and progress effectively to senior-level clients.
- Utilize project management software to enhance project execution and team collaboration

**Department Specific Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate departmental procedures and standards.
- Manage client relationships and business development efforts.
- Engage in strategic planning and resource management.
- Resolve conflicts, conduct performance reviews, and manage office space allocation.
- Provide input into project and engineering procedures and marketing tools.
- Conduct departmental manager meetings regularly

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Proven client relationship management and project planning experience in oil and gas facilities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and exposure to oil and gas facility design and construction.
- Experience managing multi-discipline teams and work across multiple offices.
- Ability to resolve interdisciplinary issues within a team environment.
- Local knowledge of business economics and industry trends.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience with a minimum of 5 years as Project Engineer in EPC or Oil & Gas operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage remote and in-person teams.
- Proficiency in engineering workflow management, interdisciplinary coordination, and project management software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Track record of successful project delivery in the Oil & Gas industry.
