**PROJECT ENGINEER SENIOR**

**Role Purpose**:
Ensure the implementation of projects and/or improvements through the optimal management of allocated and available resources to obtain the greatest benefit and/or the lowest cost based on legal guidelines and company policies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Analyze and evaluate customer requirement requests for new projects or current needs.
- Ensure that the customer's requirement is fulfilled in the best possible time.
- Ensure that process changes planned by the organization are met. Ensure compliance with direct material savings targets "PAP".
**Experience and essential qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics or similar.
- 7 years of experience in production process, design, quality in the metal-mechanic industry.
- Advanced English, able to maintain a fluent conversation in English.
**Essential competences**:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product.
- Knowledge of design interpretation.
- Knowledge of Core Tools
- Knowledge of GKN Driveline standard processes (local standards, organizational and new project development B4).
- Methodologies for project planning and management.
- Negotiation tools.
- Knowledge of Finance (cost/benefit analysis and evaluation of investment projects).
- Knowledge of official standards and company policies in health and safety, legal, labor, quality and environmental aspects.
- Knowledge of the product.
- Methodologies for problem solving.
- Application of Industrial Engineering (ergonomics, time and motion analysis, job safety).
- Problem solving.
- Industrial Engineering tools (Ergonomics, Standard Work, Line Balancing, Material Handling, etc.).
- Lean Enterprise tools (VSM, standard work, continuous flow). Leadership.
