**A Snapshot of Your Day**
Position will be primarily responsible for providing support in the proposal process for transformer projects in developing logistics concepts and pricing as part of the Siemens Energy proposal response to a customer. The position may support the execution and management of certain transformer deliveries inside the US. This position will interface with key logistics partners, internal proposal teams and the logistics execution team.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
- Responsible for receiving requests for pricing, following an established process to log the information and retrieve pricing from logistics partners in a timely manner.
- Serve as primary interface with sales channels on all aspects of logistics budgetary pricing and concepts. Person will evaluate the concepts proposed by logistics partners to identify risks and work to mitigate them in the budgetary phase.
- Provide metrics on response time and volumes to track business activity and identify trends that impact future support.
- Person will work with global factory network to fulfil requests to the US sales channels and may support execution (Delivery) of orders as needed.
**What You Bring**
- Position requires 6 years of combined experience in project logistics, specifically rail operations and handling of heavy and over dimensional cargo.
- Good organizational skills to respond to multiple inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to work well in teams interacting routinely with finance, marketing, and field service operations to achieve a common goal.
- Must understand INCOTERMS and how they may impact the pricing and risks.
- BS degree or 4+ years of experience in related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
