.Mid-level Professional**LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU**:**Your profile**:We'recurrently building a diverse and regional team where individual strengthscomplement each other. The Project Logistics Specialist is who proactively coordinateactivities with different internal and external clients and stakeholders to defineand develop project logistics and transportation plans. They will also be working with Siemens Energy factories and localand global Proposal Engineers and Project Managers to develop plans for deliveringgoods, materials spare parts and infrastructure to customer sites.**How You'll Make anImpact**:- Develop and maintain cost-effective logistics solutions tomeet customer (internal/external) needs.- Identify, analyze and mitigate risks for project logistics solutions.- Manage delivery of heavy and over-dimensional products in aproject environment- Analyze logistics spend and performance of suppliers,developing initiatives and driving improvements.- Ensure timely and professional communication with customer'sregarding status of delivery.- Engage with logistics suppliers.**Education Qualification**:- 5+ years' experience in logistics with focus ontransportation- Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain fields; Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.- Demonstrated success and depth of experience regarding theprocurement of logistics services and planning execution of deliveries withinall transportation modes.- Experience with large / over-dimensional cargo a plus- Ability to communicate status of logistics deliveries onlarge scale projects.- Critical problem-solving experience and action- Leadership in taking ownership of process and logisticsdelivery driving stakeholders to align on the same goal.- Knowledge of logistics market to be able to predict /evaluate potential risks and mitigate.- Flexibility to adjust andthrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules, and prioritiesfor multiple projects or assignments.- Experience with coordinatingactivities with third-party service providers, including the definitionof services level and tracking performance and compliance.- Self-driven and resourceful toachieve goals independently and when working in groups.- Experience with requirementsregarding all modes of transportation and distribution models preferred.- Good verbal and writtencommunication skills in EnglishPreferredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience- Experience of working in SAP and Excel- Proficient in Microsoft Office(Word, Excel and Outlook)**Your responsibilities**:- Perform logistics activities in order to guarantee an economical and on-schedule delivery of materials as defined by the Project Manager in the installation schedule.- Ensure availability of information to the project team regarding disposition of materials during transport, and coordinate corrective actions needed to ensure materials arrive on site in line with the installation schedule
