**Project Management Director - Consumer Goods Americas**:
We are now looking for a skilled and inventive **Project Management Director Consumer Goods Americas **who will have an important role supporting the key projects for the Business Unit.
**About the Role**
The Project Management Director is responsible for planning and managing CGA BU strategically critical projects from the feasibility and planning phase to implementation and completion globally. The role contributes to the definition of the budget and schedule. The Project Management Director is usually managing large and complex, long-term and/or international projects that will significantly affect the whole organization. The role is responsible for managing projects in line with budgets and timeframes and at an acceptable risk level.
**What You Will Do**
- Plans and executes strategically critical projects and programs according to agreed and established project management standards.
- Responsible for achieving operational objectives by contributing expertise, information, and recommendations in developing and reviewing related policies and/or BU/corporate plans.
- Proposes, plans, drives, and terminates BU CGA projects.
- Accountable for composing and managing cross-functional teams of people, setting direction, and deploying resources, developing roles and responsibilities, and optimizing organizations to best deliver on the developed plan.
- Makes decisions guided by policies and business/project plans, that impact the BU value creation, level of service, and the ability to meet performance objectives.
- Works independently challenging standards, and business cases, and creating new solutions.
- Ensures effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Actively participate in the exploration of organic and inorganic growth projects with in the BU.
- Acknowledged expert in Project Management principles within the organization as well as within other organizations and typically coaching, instructing, and training others.
**Who You Are**
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in business areas such as Marketing, Manufacturing, Project Management, Finance, Innovation. Last 5 years in Manager or Direction position
- Solid experience in Project Management and Business understanding.
- Excellent team-player in multinational teams
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative international environment
- Excellent strategic and conceptual thinking
- Strong commercial and entrepreneurial mind set
- Excellent financial and analytical skill set
- Strong customer orientation
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, SAP, MS Project)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Holistic thinking and the ability to manage ambiguity and complexity
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- Availability to travel (20% of the time)
