.**Supplier Quality Management**- Focus on process and system maturity using quality management system (QMS) approach that helps ensure products and services meet customer expectations and quality standards- Interface with management to achieve world-class 6 sigma level Quality and Reliability at vendor sites using Technological Innovations, Data Analytics, and Quality Digitalization- Review Project Progress with cross-functional teams such as Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Lifecycle Management, Logistics, and Procurement- Drive Quality in Design through DFQ and D/PFMEA activities- Input to New Product Kick-Off and Release to Production Meetings with Quality Data- Provide local site support as needed for Quality Management and prediction.- Drive continual process improvement with fact-based decision making and communication**Program Management**- Project ownership for identifying and qualifying new Contract Manufacturing partnerships at North American / Latin American (NALA) vendors. Scope of work will include cross-functional efforts to move existing production from other global production sites, along with introduction of new products.- Own and maintain project program, working to an agreed timeline with regular status updates and potential roadblocks identified- Interface with management for Tooling Quotation, Material Status and Project Progress- Maintain Material Status and Clear-to-Build Reports- Review Project Progress with cross-functional teams such as Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Lifecycle Management, Logistics, and Procurement- Manage Delivery Dates to Plan- Identify and execute purchase requisitions for Tooling- Input to New Product Kick-Off Meetings, including Preparation of NPI Pilot Checklist- Input to Release to Production Meeting with Pilot Performance Data- Foresight to identify scheduling delays and proactively address and mitigate risks- Be able to support meetings with global teams in different time zones**Other Deliverables**- Regular Reporting of Project Progress and Outlook to Plan to local Management, Technology and Business Unit Program Management- Ensure Manufacturing/Test Engineering resource allocations are planned, and proposed materials are reviewed to balance lifecycle risks with product needs- Coordinate with Emerson environmental compliance resources to gather product information to satisfy regulatory reporting and other requirements- Engage in end-of-life discussions to drive proactive plans to phase out items as newer designs evolve
