Job Purpose and Impact
The Project Management Officer will lead the development, management and execution of a regional portfolio of projects and programs and will be responsible for aligning portfolio and program outcomes, objectives and technical goals with the corporate, group and functional strategy as well as the program sponsors to deliver business outcomes necessary for the region.
In this role, you will provide oversight and leadership to program or project managers and deployment teams and will partner cross functionally across businesses and functions to develop the overall portfolio and program approach and business outcomes and metrics necessary to drive the initiatives in the region.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the development of the portfolio of projects that will be targeted to meet the strategic goals and value targets of the corporate and business strategy.
Align stakeholders across functions regionally and globally including development of a strategic program approach within each program or portfolio area and across locations within the region.
Promote strong business and customer partnerships to ultimately influence strategic and systemic changes, bridge technology gaps and set organization goals as well as governance around process improvement and leading practices within the related business groups and functions.
Provide overall resource management for the program within the region to ensure resource forecasting and balance across the projects within the portfolio and programs.
Monitor portfolio and project performance metrics and goals as well as overall business impact of projects within the portfolio and programs and identify variances to plan and corrective actions as appropriate.
Develop knowledge of emerging developments and improvements within the industry and incorporate into the design requirements to ensure process designs maintain the capability to deliver the products or service to meet the market requirements and internal or external risk and cost tolerances.
Confirm successful completion of project implementations and provides verification of sustainment processes and work practices by location and region to maintain the value created from the projects in the portfolio.
Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions.
You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience with program and process methodologies
Experience as project management officer
Experience in Capex and Opex projects
Confirmed success in developing, implementing and leading strategic initiatives and a portfolio of project plans
Minimum six years of related work experience
Minimum three years of experience with people management
PMP certification
Advanced English
