Position OverviewThe Project Management Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects within a company, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.
This role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, mitigating risks, and maintaining compliance with local and global standards, including labor laws and industry regulations in Mexico.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and ExecutionDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.Coordinate tasks and milestones to ensure smooth execution.Monitor progress and address deviations or obstacles in real-time.Resource ManagementAllocate and manage resources, including personnel, materials, and budgets.Negotiate with suppliers and vendors when necessary, adhering to local procurement policies.Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws (e.G., working hours, contracts, and employee rights).Risk ManagementIdentify, analyze, and mitigate project risks proactively.Develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.Stakeholder CommunicationAct as the liaison between stakeholders, team members, and senior management.Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations.Maintain clear and transparent communication regarding project changes and decisions.Quality AssuranceImplement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet agreed-upon standards.Conduct project evaluations and performance assessments.Compliance and DocumentationMaintain accurate project documentation, ensuring adherence to local and international regulations.Understand and comply with Mexican legal frameworks (e.G., labor law, tax compliance, and environmental guidelines).Continuous ImprovementAnalyze completed projects to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency for future projects.Qualifications and RequirementsEducation:Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field.Experience:3–5 years of experience managing medium to large-scale projects.Prior experience working in multinational companies or projects involving global teams is preferred.Skills:Strong leadership and organizational skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities (Spanish and English proficiency required).Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.Understanding of local business practices and compliance requirements in Mexico.Soft Skills:Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Detail-oriented and proactive approach.#J-18808-Ljbffr
