**What will I be doing?**
The Architecture, Design & Construction (AD&C;) Project Manager reports to the Senior Director Project Management. The Project Manager will own the project schedule, process, and ultimate responsibility for the successful opening/conversion of the hotel project. You will be the point of contact between Owners and internal and external partners and a conduit of information, collaborator, and facilitator between Hilton and Ownership.
For full and focused service hotel projects across all Hilton brands, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical services and guiding all elements of the planning and design phase of the project.
- Support the Owner's project timelines and construction progress.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards and any recommendations for alternative solutions to meet brand standards.
- Supervising construction activities.
- Working with internal Hilton stakeholders to report findings, key dates, solving project-related issues that will impact the hotel success and opening, conditional and final approvals.
- Internal reporting and focus on the accuracy of construction start and completion dates for all projects to achieve targets
- Occasional writing of Property Improvement Plans (PIPs) for conversion projects
- Acting as the principal point of contact for owners of hotels to ensure clear communication between the parties
- Improving the final product, and preparation of waiver requests where brand standards cannot be met.
- Assisting in the solving of problems as they arise in concert with Owners, Architects, Consultants, and Hilton Stakeholders.
- Implement effective and efficient strategies to best suit the organization.
- Plan meetings, agendas, site visits, and program deliverables effectively engaging/disengaging all parties in a timely manner that allows for accurate preparation and planning for the attendees.
- Plan meetings and travel in consideration of other Stakeholders' and attendees' travel times and travel expense agreements for several trips.

**To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications**:
- Five (5) years of solid experience in project management, construction management, or hotel construction fields
- Proficient in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
- Travel frequently - weekly travel expected, approximately 85%
**It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions**:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or PMP Certified
- FLS Local Code and NFPA Courses completed
- PMP or CAPM Certified is a plus
- Conversational in Portuguese is a plus, both written and spoken
