.We are hiring a**Project Manager & Automation Specialist (PAS)** to understand the processes our business has and to evaluate the maturity and feasibility of business processes and continuous improvement opportunities. This person will be accountable for leading the transformation of those business opportunities guiding and connecting all stakeholders in the maturation journey closing the gap in between the process and technology solution.**What You Will Be Doing**The PAS will work as an architect in the design of solutions based on technology and automation, leading digital transformation mindset, and developing the understanding of such improvement so that any other peer, user, or customer can perform the maintenance of the solution built.- This role works as connection in between the business strategy and technology; providing consulting services to every BC Business Unit on how to support their continuous improvement leads with the proper technology solution for each readiness state.- This role will work directly with the Finance team on the development, implementing & deployment of projects and solutions for an undefined period of time with the possibility of transitioning to other areas.**Who You Are**:**Required Skills and Competencies**- Bachelor's degree in, Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Industrial Engineering, or related field- Advanced written and oral English is a must.- At least 2 years implementing & managing projects.- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Automation tools (Power BI, Excel - Macros & Visual Basic, etc), is highly preferred.**Preferred Skills and Competencies**- You are familiar with Accounting and Finance terms, activities, etc.- Process mapping and process design (BPM, VSM, others)- Continuous Improvement Tools (Project Charters, Business Process Mapping, PDCA, etc.)- Familiar to RPA is a plus.- Familiar with Agile & Traditional PM Methodology. highly desirable.- You have a good understanding of processes and its impact in the organization and able to challenge current process status.- You can gain trust of employees and key partners to build/develop business relationships.- High initiative to recognize opportunities and coordinate/facilitate resolution of issues that ultimately arise into cost savings via cultural shifting, technology adoption, waste reduction, process redesigning, etc.- You are curious, always looking for the newest technology trends and driven to design and sell.- Proven decision-making with strong judgement, sense of urgency and appropriate prioritization as action.- Able to embrace details and formulate the 'big picture' helping our customers to find pain points.- Strong negotiation/interpersonal skills required for interpersonal influence and conflict resolution.- Ambitious, great teammate, who is collaborative with all audiences.- Able to manage ambiguity.- You can design workflows/business processes and supporting technology solutions
