Every day we help our major global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects, in over 125 offices worldwide.The Project Manager is responsible for analyzing civil, electromechanical, and special installations verifying that they fulfill the technical specifications of the project and Mexican legislation norms, elaborating and controlling reports, and monitoring the qualification of contractor craftsmen while recommending actions for improvement.The PM works with responsibilities corresponding to the civil and MEP disciplines and involves direct day-to-day monitoring of the work site.The candidate must demonstrate advanced knowledge in the following construction and site support activities:Capacity to analyze and evaluate construction drawings, technical specifications, and scope of works on-site, comparing projects against Mexican standards (or international standards) and client standards.Knowledge of methodology to develop construction schedules and cost estimates to have input in WBS and cost and project reviews, and support value engineering.Contribute to risk analysis and updating project risks matrix.Interpretation, application, and implementation of safety standards and best practices.Installation of process, electrical, and mechanical equipment.Plant inspection of fabrication of piping and equipment, and installation.Checkout, pre-commissioning, and commissioning planning and execution.Work planning, scheduling, and execution experience.Familiarity and understanding of quality requirements to define and review quality plans.Ability to plan and manage work for self and others.Facilitate and participate in design reviews.Ability to understand the scopes of work/drawings/documents and clarify any doubts of the Contractor.Ability to review and evaluate contractor bids in bid leveling.Regular communication with Client operations, where applicable, on day-to-day site activities to plan stoppages and interfaces with existing buildings and systems.Prepare, issue, and present reports and attend weekly meetings as scheduled in the project.QualificationsTen years professional experience with a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Project Manager on Industrial / Manufacturing / Data Center projects.Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience with Electric, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Automation Systems.
Commissioning experience is required.
PMI certification is a plus.Experience in LEED projects is a plus.Fluent in English and Spanish to lead project team meetings, issue written communications, minutes, and reports, and lead client meetings.Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera P6, Microsoft Office tools.Knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM
