Our site, Albéa Matamoros is North America's Center of Excellence for Mascara, Lip Gloss and Lipstick Packaging.ScopeResponsible for projects for any product line and developing products that will be produced in Matamoros plant. Responsible for on time/quality/cost and performance launch of such projects.Main activitiesBuilds and manages the project from need formulation up to delivery of first industrial production (QCT & performances)Interact with customers, sales, marketing to collaborate on customer and strategic projectsCollaborate with the manufacturing site to secure resources and set prioritiesAnticipate risks and proactively address themEnsure NPD methodology is understood and effectively implement it in the organizationAccountability including KPIsGuarantees project feasibility with Need, Product, Process, Suppliers and Supply chain leaders. Make sure of on time validation of the projectEnsures technical approval from customer / market (product/process...) in relation with Need leader and, when necessary, with support from Product Process or Suppliers and Supply chain leadersGuarantee global and operational transfer of the project to the plant until production is stabilizedShare project's Quality/Cost/Time Performance objectives and guarantee new product launches are on-time, in full, at cost, on budget, and meet quality requirements in line with project charter.Profile (Experience & qualifications)Experience and education
- Minimum 3 years' experience in project management role involving direct client interface and product development
- Experience in packaging/fast moving consumer good industry is preferred.
- Implementation of LSS methodologies on transactional or non-manufacturing environments, a plus.
- Experience in Quality Management Systems, a plusKnowledge/Technical Skills required
- Fluent in both written and oral English.
- Knowledge of injection molding and mold design/development is a plus
- Proficiency in Project Management (PMI certification a plus)Leadership skills
