**About the Role**

**tna **is looking for a **Project Manager**:

- who will be responsible for efficiently managing turn-key projects with a "hands on" approach to ensure on-time delivery, under budget expenses and customer scope & quality satisfaction and reports to the Projects Team Leader.

With our Head office based in Queretaro, Mexico, this position which involves 70% travel, will be reporting directly into the General Manager, Latin America.

**Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Management of and actively involved in the development from initiation through to completion of a Project.
- Coordinate with Sales, Solution Specialists, Manufacturing and Customer Service & Logistics to ensure knowledge sharing, equipment and performance objectives are attainable and met for each project.
- Actively work with the Sales and Solution Specialists, sharing knowledge and experience across all facets of the project.
- Manage costs, schedule, documentation, quality, start-up/commissioning, and training elements of each project you are assigned.
- Project scheduled meetings with manufacturing as well as with customers.
- Accountable for ensuring all project plans are drafted, maintained, and updated to all involved in the project, resolving problems, actioning solutions to bring projects on time, within budget and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Accountable for all equipment orders, follow up progress and communication to all parties.
- Accountable for forming and ensuring that the team meets deadlines of his/her projects.
- Accountable for making and communicating required changes to plans as required to ensure a positive outcome.
- Liaise with Solution Specialists and Manufacturing to ensure all aspects of installation are covered including layouts, contract amendments, variations to scope, etc.
- Manage the installation and commissioning of projects on customer sites. As well as any variations so as to ensure working solutions are implemented on site.
- Follow up all payments for all orders/projects are received timeously (prior to installation as well as per agreed terms).
- Ensure that the manufacturing sites are meeting their required deadlines.
- Ensure that the Project Engineer deliverables are met pertaining to layouts, BOM, purchase orders internal and external.
- Ensures that the contract with the customers is in order and can be met as per the project and that the user requirement is aligned to the contract.
- Ensure tat the filing system in Teams is up to date and correct processes and documentation is used.
- Other tasks / duties as reasonably requested.

**Qualification, Experience and Knowledge**
- Qualifications in mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering, industrial electrical trade or other relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years in technical projects environment.
- Exposure to the manufacturing (specifically food and packaging) industry is essential.
- Sound knowledge of using Gantt charts is essential.
- AutoCAD, Inventor or other 3D software is desirable.
- High level of product knowledge is desirable.

- Good problem solving & decision-making skills in line with organisational philosophies and practices (5 Y process knowledge).
- Fluent with English language proficiency, written and verbal.

**Others**
- Valid driver's license and car in good working order.
- Valid Passport with more than 6 months before expiry.
- Must be prepared to travel at short notice, locally and overseas, including some weekends.
