Eaton's ESSG CPSD PDD Power Delivery Division division is currently seeking a Project Manager.
**What you'll do**:
- Responsible for the successful execution of assigned capital projects and associated budget allocations. Plan, direct, and execute business projects related to manufacturing methods, processes, facilities, systems, and equipment using comprehensive knowledge of existing capabilities and new technology. Implements the manufacture of new products or product lines with the emphasis on integrating using the most efficient process and manufacturable design. Interfaces with manufacturing personnel to learn and improve existing processes. Also develop effective cross-organization relationships, efficient collaboration, and communication across the business and with stakeholders. Strong leadership, accountability, and knowledge in PMP. Manage high-visibility, strategic capital projects, manage focused teams, run meetings, make regular update reports, execute major equipment purchase contracts, and replicate existing equipment.- Ensure effective change management process is utilized including achievement of all MESH requirements.
- Develop training and operational documentation.
- Implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Support activities associated with large projects managed as an overall program through the ProLaunch process.
- Maintain metrics for project cost, quality, technical performance, and delivery.
- Coordinates all risks and requirements of the program into a complete integrated entity. This is accomplished by planning, controlling, integrating all projects into the programs, and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved.
- Contractor management while onsite at Eaton in adherence to Eaton's MESH contractor safety requirements.
- Provides periodic project updates (Project Status Report 4-ups - Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule). Provides updates to the business units.
- Develop the project scope and requirements, tracking and managing changes in scope throughout the project lifecycle.
- Estimate, manage and track, project costs, risks, and capital spending against established targets.
- Establish and maintain metrics for project financials, quality, technical performance and delivery through all PRO Launch phases.
- Manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously to meet defined objectives while prioritizing and resolving conflicts.
- Define and delineate work breakdown for all functional areas.
- Lead and manage an Integrated Project Team (IPT) in a functional matrix environment.
- Direct others without formal reporting relationships across multiple functions and/or sites.
- Implement effective risk management.
- Work with the IPT to identify project risks then proactively formulate and execute risk mitigation actions.
- Integrate all requirements, risks and goals into a complete, integrated project plan - PRO Launch.
- Present in Decision Gate Committee (DGC) projects status.
- Sharing of best practices as result of internal and external benchmarking activities.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in related fields. Combined experience in project management, product engineering or engineering operations - PMP certification is preferred

- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma processes and tools preferred.
- Experienced with Computer Aided Drafting and Design preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer.
