Job DescriptionResponsible for the complete management of a project from the planning phase through final completion and delivery to the client.
Responsible for the day-to-day contact with and for the client and is responsible for meeting project fiduciary requirements and time schedules.Essential Job DutiesMonitor all phases of a project and promptly address any changes to the original scope of services and the impact to the project schedule and budget.Organize and lead project kick-off and closeout meetings with the client and contractors.
Act as the primary liaison to other stakeholders regarding the project including building operations, security, and IT.Continually assess project needs and resources available to complete the project successfully.Ensure client schedule and budget objectives are met through site inspections and provide recommendations addressing revised project schedules and/or feasibility of pre-determined schedules.Perform timely and accurate project management administrative activities including issuing meeting minutes, purchase and change orders, verifying work, processing invoices, and updating project status.Ensure project deliverables meet client and company objectives.Maintain schedules and report to management of project status.Manage project closeout activities to ensure timely completion of all punch list activities.Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, federal, and customer safety rules and regulations.Adhere to all set company and client policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesBachelor's degree; preferably in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Facilities ManagementMinimum 7-9 years related experienceUnderstanding and knowledge of necessary regulations, in which work is being performed to ensure complianceStrong budgetary, fiscal, and expense management skillsExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenMay perform other duties as assigned.Working Conditions: Normal working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements.Note: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.Newmark is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Physical RequirementsSeeing: Must be able to read reports and use computerHearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workersStanding / WalkingClimbing / Stooping / KneelingLifting / Pulling / PushingFingering / Grasping / Feeling: Must be able to write, type and use phone system#J-18808-Ljbffr
