**Project Manager II/III**We are seeking a Project Manager to lead large scale projects and is passionate about process improvement.
In this position, the Project Manager will be managing several concurrent projects varying in size and complexity for New Product Development, strategic initiatives, and process improvement.
They will be integral with developing and making improvements on engineering workflows and management systems and will play a key role in shaping the next generation information management system for engineering.
**Description of job responsibilities**:- Lead improvement events with the ability to prioritize and facilitate decision making- Lead creation of process standards and deploy training to team members- Work with process owners to establish baseline metrics on project KPI's and with technical team to ensure solution remains focused on driving KPI's- Lead development and prioritization of project scope- Work with stakeholders to build priority alignment and drive engagement- Manage and develop project plans in alignment with the organization's project management processes- Lead project meetings to manage milestone deliverables and goals through all phases of development- Facilitate collaborative and effective communication between team members.- Build support to influence decisions in-order to ensure aligned work towards common objectives.- Manage Lesson's Learned and process improvement plans.
**Basic Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.- Minimum 5 years progressive experience which includes experience managing projects with multiple project teams and disciplines; experience with PM methodologies**Preferred Qualifications**:- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.- Experience making formal and informal presentations to cross-functional teams, including, senior management and key stakeholders.- Demonstrated experience developing and modifying process standards and objectives as appropriate.- Demonstrated management skills and the ability to work effectively to build relationships with department managers and support teams.- Experience with coordinating activities and projects with teams sitting at various sites globally- Ability to develop, direct, motivate and gain the commitment of cross-functional teams.- Ability to translate conceptual thinking into project definitions and requirements; to understand and communicate technical specifications and design standards.- Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor others.- Demonstrated ability to inform and influence senior leadership, management, and individuals in various parts of the organization to work toward successful outcomes
