**Job Description Summary**: Provides leadership and guidance across all disciplines to ensure that technology, design transfers and Sustainability Business Projects from other sites achieve or surpass the set project/business goals (timing, quality, cost, etc.). Additionally, responsible for planning, budgeting, and reporting on projects/programs to upper management, and resolving any issues that arise during the project. This role also involves performing project risk management and strong team management to ensure all project deliverables are successfully completed in accordance with BD quality systems and standards. The responsibilities include effective decision-making and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Define a detailed Project Scope and facilitate Team Roster and personnel selection.
- Integrate, develop and execute Product/Process Transfer goals of the receiving/sending plants.
- Develop the project timeline and deliverables documents for each transfer phase.
- Develop Project Team long
- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines of the transfer project.
- Lead the transfer team meetings and to maintain accurate minutes and follow up action's items.
- Keep proper team communication and team time management.
- Coordinate and lead the cross-functional efforts to successfully address the following: Materials Supply Planning, Quality Plans, Transfer and Development of Device Master Records, Develop Lean Manufacturing for new process/product transfers & Product Costing and savings analysis and justification.
- Manage the transfer deliverables phase exit reviews.
- Resolve any process/quality issues during project phases.
- Serving as a main point of contact to review product/process specifications found during the transfer and ensure team actions remain in synergy.
- Develop Process Transfer Qualification Master Plan by meeting BD Quality System and Standard.
- Be able to interpretate and implement International Quality Regulations required by multiples regions.
- Be able to provide coaching and mentoring and develop new talent.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent. Master's degree or Certified Project Manager is preferred.
- 3~5 years in product/equipment transfers; manufacturing background; medical industry experience (preferred).
- Demonstrate effective communication, presentation and influencing skills, bilingual English and Spanish.
- Strong Microsoft Office Experience.
- Certified Green Belt.
- Lean Manufacturing Certification (preferred).
