Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Material Productivity Project Manager in CDMX Great people make Schneider Electric a great company. What do you get to do in this position? The Material Productivity Leader provides strategic direction and is responsible to develop, lead, and execute all the initiatives associated with technical productivity in the plant.
Initiatives include insource, outsource, change of supplier, quality & value engineering changes, supply base optimization and supply risk mitigation among others. Build and support a solid pipeline of projects through new ideas that secure productivity year over year. Coach the procurement organization in the project management/agile best practices. Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Establish relations with key stakeholders and lead executive presentations with senior leadership. Communicate results and be accountable for plant productivity financials. Drive and ensure project timelines, deliverables, budget, quality, critical activities and other important KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are within expectations and forecast. Lead productivity workshops to increase pipeline of new ideas and business cases for future projects opening. Development of solid business cases to mature productivity ideas and convert them into projects. Perform risk management to identify and minimize issues in program/project execution, leading discussions and tracking of action plans with proper individuals. This job might be for you if you fit the following requirements: Qualifications
· University / College degree in Industrial Engineering, Business or equivalent. MBA is desirable.
· 3-5 years of experience in Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing or Supply Chain areas.
· +3 years proven experience working in Project Management. PMP certification is desirable.
· Understanding of Manufacturing Processes.
· Experience implementing and leading Agile. Scrum Master Certification is desirable.
· Bilingual in English/Spanish – business proficient (written and oral)
· Proactive, dynamic, self-driven, results oriented.
· Availability to travel Internationally (Valid Passport and USA Visa)
· Supplier Chain knowledge, Supplier Management, Negotiation , Market analysis, Cost Modeling, Inventory Management.
· Ability to interpret engineering specs, drawings, BOM (Bill of Material).
· Internal Cost and Budget Management knowledge
