**About the Role**:
A Project Manager is responsible for building and managing project plans.
They will work with product, engineering and customers to do this.
They will also track progress, identify issues and ensure we're meeting expectations.
taking our project plans and translating them into a sprint plan our development team will execute upon.
They will hold daily stand-ups, track progress, address issues, and escalate as needed.
They will interact predominantly with the engineering, QA, product, and PM groups.
They are knowledgeable in Agile methodology and scrum and able to educate others.
They also act as a buffer between the scrum team and product owner and maintain a safe working environment for the team by helping with conflict resolution.
**Responsibilities for a Project Manager**:
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
Perform risk management to identify and mitigate risks, escalate as required..
Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organisation.
Present status reports internally and to the customer (excellent client-facing and internal communication skill)
**Required Skills/Experience**:
A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably with remote teams.
Experience managing fintech and financial services projects is preferred.
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana or similar
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
Experience developing and tracking budgets
Experience in resource allocation and producing budget and time estimates
