Morrison Energy Services is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to work on our Electrical Transmission frameworks, nationwide with initial project based in Cowley.As a Project Manager, you will be part of our Electrical Transmission management team who are responsible for managing the civil and M&E delivery teams of the National Grid EPC Substations, and M&E RIIO-T2 Frameworks throughout the UK.Our Electrical Transmission business unit is working on behalf of clients including National Grid and SSE on a range of Infrastructure Project Development and EPC Capital projects.As a Project Manager your duties & responsibilities will include:Leading the construction team in delivering a portfolio of M&E projects through the end to end process from project initiation to completionStrategic health, safety and environmental management and leadership to drive the highest standardsDelivery of the projects portfolio to the agreed time, cost and quality requirementsWork closely with the planning team to ensure delivery programmes are in place and progress is monitoredDrive the Project team ethos to ensure the Construction Manager, Commercial Manager, Design Lead and Project Engineers function as a cohesive management teamDrive risk management for the ProjectsProvide leadership and guidance on technical and contractual matters to ensure timely resolutionContribute to new contract tender bids using industry knowledgeSupport the preparation of monthly CVR in conjunction with the Commercial ManagerBeing commercially astute, lead the management team to deliver the balanced scorecard and meet/exceed contract financial terms and targetsSkills & Knowledge Requirements:Previous project management experience gained within electrical infrastructureKnowledge of the Electrical Transmission and Distribution industry is essentialAble to demonstrate ownership of a portfolio of projects of varying values and complexitiesEffective communication skillsEffective relationship management skillsAppreciation and understanding of commercial managementFlexible and adaptableAble to work autonomously and collaborativelyHold a relevant Project Management qualification or equivalentA full driving licence and willingness to travel frequentlyWhat's in it for you?25 days' annual leave plus 8 days' bank holidayPension schemeLife AssurancePrivate health careReward BenefitCompany car or car allowance and fuel card#J-18808-Ljbffr
