.**Job Description Summary**: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall execution of assigned projects, ensuring business objectives are met, aligned with global PM practices and compliance. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. The role requires high levels of operational judgment.**Roles and Responsibilities**- Program budgeting and resource allocation- Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments as appropriate- Lead multiple projects, monitoring progress and quality and ensuring schedule requirements are met- Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems- Understand government investment strategy and policies, identify areas where GE Aerospace can partner- Execute and provide guidance for the analysis/evaluation of assigned projects that meet standards, practices and products/program requirements- Establishing/developing close relationships with key organizations, academy and associations- Proactive, able to develop new and creative ideas as well as with strong ownership- Interface with external organizations and supporting functions, and direct/coordinate the efforts of project team members in order to accomplish overall goals- Participate with a manager(s) in developing, communicating, executing, and tracking program plans and goals.- Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization**Required Qualifications**- Bachelor's Degree- Solid contribution in a similar role or previous position- Excellent written, oral, and comprehension abilities in English and Spanish.- Demonstrated technical skills and experience aligned with the team's scope.- Demonstrated Project Management skills or the ability to document, plan, execute, control, close, and manage programs, projects, orders, activities, or systems.- English skills: Must be able to maintain a normal day-to-day fluid conversation in English on any topic.
