Job Description
EPM II - Project and Materials support.
You will use your Engineering and Project Management background to support cross-functional team(s) on Electronics, Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineers with focus on Purchasing, Material Planning, logistics and other functional areas to develop products for the Automotive industry. In this capacity, you will support technical design and development of embedded systems and products. As an Engineering Project Manager II, you will be supporting EPMs and stakeholders, create and maintain project schedules and budgets, tracking interim milestones and communicating status updates to Sr. EPMs and peers. In this capacity, you will support problem resolutions and contribute to the overall design team. Your primary responsibility is to support project objectives being met including performance, schedule, reliability, and quality.
Requirements:
BS in Electrical, Computer, Systems, or Software Engineering with 1-2 years of experience in project management is required.
2 years of experience in designing and developing new products from concept through launch is an asset.
Foundational skill and / or interest on leadership topics is an asset.
Ability to participate on technical discussions with engineers and effectively communicate information to stakeholders in English is required.
Skills & interest on materials planning, purchasing and logistics as they relate to project management. This will be part of day to day activities.

Good communication and organizational skills.
Interest / skill on leadership, negotiation, and problem solving.
Fluent in written and verbal English
Interest or foundational experience with Project Management software and tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Slack, etc.).
Interest or basic knowledge on Product Lifecycle Management Software (Windchill) is a plus.
Interest or basic skill on SAP Enterprise Resource Planning is a plus.
Interest or basic skill on DFM, DFT, DFMEA, methods a plus.
Interest & basic skill on materials management.
Multiculturality.
Interest on Automotive is a plus.
Interest / basic exposure on PMP / Agile is a plus.
