Every day we help our major global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects, in over 125 offices worldwide.Project Manager ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager is responsible for analyzing civil, electromechanical, and special installations to ensure compliance with the technical specifications of the project and Mexican legislation norms.
The PM will elaborate and control reports, monitor the qualification of contractor craftsmen, and recommend actions for improvement.The PM works with responsibilities corresponding to the civil and MEP disciplines and involves direct day-to-day monitoring of the work site.Key ActivitiesAnalyze and evaluate construction drawings, technical specifications, and scope of works on site, comparing project against Mexican standards (or international standards) and client standards.Develop construction schedules and cost estimates to provide input in WBS and cost and project reviews, and support value engineering.Contribute to risk analysis and update the project risks matrix.Interpret, apply, and implement safety standards and best practices.Oversee the installation of process, electrical, and mechanical equipment.Conduct plant inspections for fabrication of piping and equipment, and installation.Manage checkout, pre-commissioning, and commissioning planning and execution.Plan, schedule, and execute work effectively.Define and review quality plans to meet quality requirements.Plan and manage work for self and others.Facilitate and participate in design reviews.Understand the scopes of work/drawings/documents and clarify any doubts of the Contractor.Review and evaluate contractor bids in bid leveling.Regularly communicate with Client operations on day-to-day site activities to plan stoppages and interfaces with existing buildings and systems.Prepare, issue, and present reports, and attend weekly meetings as scheduled in the project.QualificationsTen years of professional experience with a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Project Manager on Industrial / Manufacturing / Data Center projects.Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.Experience with Electric, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Automation Systems; commissioning experience is required.PMI certification is a plus.Experience in LEED projects is a plus.Fluent in English and Spanish to lead project team meetings, issue written communications, minutes, and reports, and lead client meetings.Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office tools.Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM.Additional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
