All our employees must complete regular workplace safety training and comply with our mandatory safety standardsSUMMARY OF THE ROLEThe MTD Project Manager (PM) will manage all major projects within Module Technology Deployment (MTD). MTD organization carries out all solar module technology and product deployment, optimization of the technology, and cost reduction. The PM will coordinate with module production sites in Mexico and Malaysia, and with R&D in Singapore and California. Additional coordination will occur with the fabrication site GMs and their teams, and Global Supply Chain and Finance. The PM will have the opportunity to make a very large impact on the module deliverables of MTD and the resulting production at the factories. The PM will interface with key executives as part of the established business process that guides new projects through major milestones. The PM will significantly impact these schedules and project milestones. The matrixed project team is multi-national and will require excellent guidance from the PM. This position reports directly to the Director of MTD and dotted line to the Global Program Management Office.**Key Responsibilities**: Effectively organize the project deliverables, resources, costs, and schedule Identify and minimize risks, especially to the schedule Establish regular weekly communication and milestone reporting, to the team and to management Work closely with the cross-functional technical and business teams at several sites Establish agreed costs and NPV with finance Personally communicate in a very clear manner to maintain excellent focus on the project goals Create details project plans, budgets, and metrics that can be monitored Travel as needed, perhaps 10%**Minimum Education and Experience**: Bachelor's degree in engineering and 7+ years of related experience or master's degree and 5+ years of related experience, including 4+ years of project management experience.
