**Job Overview**

A Project Manager that is part of the Onboarding Success Team (OST) will work closely with the Business Development (BD) and Operations (Ops) teams and will be focused on new clients brought on by the BD team and ensuring a successful onboarding with Avantpage before transferring to the main Ops team.
This role is ideal for a solutions-oriented PM that can think out of the box, is focused on customer needs and helps win and develop new clients, and has a sales approach.
**Duties and Responsibilities**

The OST PM will have similar responsibilities of an Ops PM but centered on new clients and prospects.
Their focus will be on the following:

- Act as the primary contact for BD team inquiries regarding leads, prospects, and potential clients ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Manage project requests from newly onboarded clients until they transition to the main Ops team.
- Scope and quote translation and localization projects for new clients.
- Plan and monitor projects to meet deadlines, quality, and budget requirements.
- Manage client relationships and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients.
- Collaborate with international production teams to create, implement, and maintain appropriate client
- or project-specific procedures, solutions, checklists, and instructions.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial project data, workflows, schedules, and processes to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Active participation in client kick-off meetings and internal contract meetings.
- Provide virtual demos and troubleshooting of our Customer Portal.
- Handle daily requests for quotes, test translations, individual tasks, and ad hoc requests.
- Monitor and document unusual client behaviors.
- Proactively suggest creative solutions for client requests.
- Set up new client profiles in XTRF according to established methods.
- Lead periodic reporting meetings between BD and Operations leaders to assess needs and expectations.
- Track account-specific metrics and evaluate the "effort level" to inform transition decisions during the bi-annual process.
- Ensure all relevant project details are clearly communicated and documented to facilitate a smooth handover of the account to the Ops team.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Localization experience is required
- Minimum of 1-year project management experience
- Proven knowledge of industry-related tools (CAT, OCR, TMS, etc.)
- Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated self-motivation and flexibility to work independently, and as part of a team but also under supervision
- Professional and consistent communication with clients and internal team
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, planning and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to provide clear directions and guidance to a small team
- Gathering basic production data for QBRs or other client reporting
