**Job Purpose**:
To manage Product Development Projects primarily for products engineered by the Burnsville based Engineering Groups, including the Loudspeakers, Intercoms, Headsets, and software solutions.
**Job Scope**:
Under direct supervision of the PMO Head of Dept, responsible for the coordination and completion Product Development Projects. Has responsibility for all aspects of the Project over the entire Project life (From Project Start through QG-5), such as setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing the progress (initiate, plan, execute, control, close); problem recognition, escalation and resolution are key to success in this role. Collaborate with other project team members to effectively coordinate the activities and become familiar with system scope and Project objectives as well as the role and function of each team member.
**Essential Functions.**
85% Manage Projects as directed by immediate supervisor
10% Mentor Team Members on Project Management techniques to improve Project performance.
5% Provide input to Supervisors on the performance of their staff in their roles as project Team Members
**Requisitos**:
**Bachelor's degree**:
- Bachelor's level degree in related field or equivalent blend of education and work experience. A.S. or B.S.E.E. degree preferred.

- CAPM or PMP Certification (Optional)
- Working knowledge of MS Project 2000 or higher and Visio
- 2 or more Years Prior Project Management experience
- 3 or more Years general management experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment
- 2 or more Years of budgetary responsibilities
- Ability to present ideas comfortably to all levels of personnel, internal and external
- Prior Project Methodology experience
- Negotiation and conflict management skills
- Valid Passport
**Physical Demands**:
- Normal office environment.
- Some exposure to factory and warehouse environments, depending upon Project(s).
- Travel up to 25% of time, some international travel is possible
