Own IT deliverables across the various projects (Build and Run) in their domain,
leading the Scrum Masters from each team and answerable to the LOB business and CoC
automation specialist
**Responsibilities **
Attend stand-up calls with Automation Specialist, Business owner, and IT Scrum
Masters to report on program-level IT deliverables and dependencies or escalate
impediments
Resolve Scrum Master escalations and impediments within IT/infrastructure and to
business.
Jointly with Automation Specialist, schedule and facilitate PI Planning sessions
with Automation Specialist, RTE/SM, development team, business stakeholders, and
IT teams - handoff by Automation Specialist to RTE for technical deliverables
Escalation of issues (Technical Solution Design, Development, Production Support)
Maintain inventory of technical design solutions for reusability
In their domain, oversee solution design work and IT deliverables through the
solutions design process, along with architects, domain IT and LOB roles.
Own Agile delivery across multiple projects and scrum teams, working with Scrum
Masters and Business Sponsors and Technical Leads to facilitate the team's
delivery process, monitor the team's workflow, provide guidance and coaching and
development to direct reports
Handle escalations from the team and business partners
Plan and organize schedules of deliverables and resources
Be hands-on in critical areas and willing to "get your hands dirty" to get the
job done
- Develop a deep knowledge of our businesses' needs and priorities to help manage
the collaboration across business stakeholders and IT groups.
**Desired Skills; Experience**
- Proficiency in English (verbal & written) is a must
- Bachelor degree in Administration or IT related field.
- Total relevant experience should be between 5 to 10 years.
- Applicants ideally have demonstrable insurance and IT (Automation) industry
expertise and appreciation of the challenges of working with different cultures
and time zones, as well as an applicable working knowledge of rapid change
delivery processes which can be applied day to day.
- Formal project management qualification and extensive years of demonstrable
project management experience on large projects, over multiple locations and
within the insurance industry.
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs essential and an advanced knowledge of MS
Excel and MS Power Point.
- Proven communication, documentation, analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Experience in project delivery with a variety of methodologies i.e., Agile,
Scrum, Waterfall
