Position Objective: Lead the strategy of the plant's capital investment projects, focusing on the brownfield project, to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the design, planning, and execution. This includes adherence to Industrial Safety, Property Security, Quality, Insurance Companies, Legal, and Commercial standards.
Your TasksResponsibilities: Oversee and provide strategic direction to the project team for the detailed design of the brownfield expansion project, ensuring compliance with quality, SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment), property security, end users, financial, regulatory, legal, commercial, and corporate requirements as per plant specifications.Lead stakeholder management, coordinating with customers, corporate technical experts, and Beiersdorf stakeholders to integrate business requirements into a strategic growth plan for the plant, aligned with the regional vision for Americas.Develop and execute strategies and plans for the BMM master plan, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall business objectives. Communicate project progress, and escalate risks and requirements to the Core Team, Project Management Team, and Steering Committee.Manage project resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all success criteria.Conduct thorough evaluations for the project, including supplier procurement, security and quality risk analysis, and equipment capabilities assessments, ensuring all processes adhere to Beiersdorf's code of conduct and organizational values.Desired Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration or a related field.Desired Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the design, planning, and/or management of significant capital investment projects, preferably exceeding $20 million USD, specifically in the Cosmetic and/or Pharmaceutical industries, with a focus on brownfield projects.Desired Technical Knowledge: Expertise in the management and strategy definition for the conceptualization, design, planning, and execution of capital investment projects, with a particular emphasis on brownfield expansions in the Pharmaceutical and/or Cosmetic industry.Profound knowledge of regulations concerning Quality, Safety, and Legal considerations in the design, planning, and execution of capital investment projects, including Building, Plant Services, Critical Services, and Process Equipment.Experience in the design and/or management of operations in pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic plants, with an emphasis on optimizing existing facilities.
