Flo Networks is a leading provider of telecommunications services between the US and Mexico. We provide voice and data services to Fortune 1000 companies, telecommunications, and cable companies over a fiber optic network that spans over 13,000 miles between both countries.We have an immediate need for an experienced **Provisioning Engineer.** This position can be based in Juarez, Monterrey, or Mexico City.The Role:We are looking for a **Provisioning Engineer** to carry out the assignment of facilities and provisioning of services in the shortest time frame following our quality and service standards.The Responsibilities:- Install and provision new services following the established procedures.- Support the delivery process by performing tests and explaining the customer the types of tests and results of such tests when service is provisioned.- Provide technical support to the NOC or Engineering teams when needed.- Document facilities and service details for monitoring purposes and post-sales support.- Work together with the Infrastructure department in the facilities assignment of new services.- Participate in the design of data solutions together with Sales and other areas to fulfill business requirements.- Assist and actively participate in the data infrastructure documentation project.- Maintain the minimum level of CCNA certification.- Participate in all activities that result from changes and improvements of the area.- Comply with the policies and procedures, instructions and regulations of the company's systems, as well as ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations applicable to Transtelco and its subsidiaries.The Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.- 3-5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry with roles such as a Network Engineer or similar.- 3-5 years of experience working on LAN, WAN, Wireless, SD-WAN technologies.- CISCO routing and switching certification, CCNP or CCNA required.- WAN and LAN upgrade projects experience.- Proven experience working with BGP, OSPF, ERGRP, IPSEC, HSRP, VDC, 802.11, 802.1x, SNMP, routing protocols, and LAN Switching experience.- Advanced knowledge in configuration and design of IP data networks.- Technical training in configuring equipment and IP network technologies.- Experience managing Cisco Network Equipment and tools.- Ability to evaluate and test network equipment.- Experience with cloud and hybrid cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS).
