PDP aims to contribute to improving the institutional and operational capacity of governmental and non-governmental actors involved in the protection of human rights defenders and journalists, supporting the generation of a safer civic space for the exercise of freedom of expression and the defense of rights.**Please note: Only Mexican citizens are eligible for this position**Position Summary:The Psychoemotional Attention Consultant will conduct workshops on techniques and strategies for psycho-emotional care of human rights defenders and journalists, as well as public servants. These workshops will focus on strengthening the resilience capacities of this population and promoting psychosocial support by government institutions.Responsibilities:Design workshops on psychoemotional care strategies to build the capacities of public servants, providing them with tools to support human rights defenders and journalists who are victims of aggression.Design mental health strategy workshops tailored to the needs of journalists and human rights defenders, incorporating an intercultural and gender perspective.Conduct workshops for groups of human rights defenders, journalists, or public servants, either virtually or in person.Prepare reports that include the main observations and descriptions of the workshop developments.Maintain constant communication with the area responsible for overseeing and managing the consultancy work.Ensure the inclusion of a gender and intercultural perspective, and an intersectional approach in the development of the consultancy.Provide personalized follow-up on the consultancy work and attend in-person or virtual meetings convened by PDP.Submit the required evidence and documents as specified in the Deliverables section.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in psychology with a clinical specialization required.Minimum two years of experience directly conducting workshops required.Ability to develop workshops with a gender and human rights perspective.Fluency in Spanish required.MSI is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion
