1. Develop machine and process specifications for new processes: The Stator Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing new processes that will improve manufacturing productivity and efficiency. This includes developing machine specifications and designing processes that are optimized for the manufacturing environment.
2. Develop and review operational documents: The Stator Process Engineer will be responsible for developing and reviewing operational documents, including Control Plans, FMEA, Procedures, Product Drawings, Process Sheets, Lessons Learned, Single Point Lessons, SCCAF, Error Proofing. These documents will provide detailed instructions on how to operate and maintain equipment and processes within the manufacturing environment.
3. Coordinate implementation activities with OEMs, PD, Controls, B&F and Launch Engineers: The Stator Process Engineer will work closely with different teams, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Product Development (PD), Controls, Business and Finance (B&F), and Launch Engineers to coordinate implementation activities. This includes ensuring that equipment and processes are installed and set up in accordance with the required specifications and quality standards.
4. Coordinate simultaneous engineering with OEMs to develop new assembly/test processes: The Stator Process Engineer will work closely with OEMs to develop new assembly/test processes. This includes ensuring that the processes are designed to meet quality standards, and that equipment is available to support the process.
5. Support the development of all Quality documentation per launch readiness: The Stator Process Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all quality documentation is developed in accordance with launch readiness. This includes developing quality documentation and ensuring that all quality standards are met.
6. Develop and manage open issues list for the responsible machine's lines: The Stator Process Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing an open issues list for the responsible machine's lines. This includes identifying issues and working with different teams to develop solutions to address them.
7. Manage within master timing charts, with corrective actions and recovery plans identified where needed: The Stator Process Engineer will be responsible for managing the timing of the project and ensuring that corrective actions and recovery plans are developed and implemented where needed. This includes managing project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
8. Purchase new equipment and machine tryout parts: The Stator Process Engineer will be responsible for purchasing new equipment and machine tryout parts. This includes working with different teams to identify the equipment and parts that are required and ensuring that they are purchased and delivered on time.
9. Follow Up Program timing and Budget Management with Milestones, Reporting Program Progress throughout PTME Tools: The Stator Process Engineer will be responsible for following up program timing and budget management with milestones, reporting program progress throughout PTME tools. This includes monitoring project progress, identifying issues, and working with different teams to develop solutions.
10. Purchase Orders generation and follow up to invoice payment: The Stator Process Engineer will be responsible for generating purchase orders and following up to invoice payment
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and evaluate rotor processes for efficiency and productivity improvements. Develop and implement solutions to optimize assembly processes, reduce cycle time, and increase production output.
2. Troubleshoot rotor assembly line problems and provide technical support to the manufacturing team to ensure continuous production flow and minimize downtime.
3. Lead and participate in process improvement projects related to rotor manufacturing, including process flow, layout, tooling, and equipment improvements.
4. Support the development of training programs for the manufacturing team related to rotor assembly processes, ensuring that all operators are trained to perform their jobs efficiently and effectively.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other third-party organizations to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services required for the rotor assembly process.
6. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new rotor assembly processes, equipment, and tooling.
7. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations related to rotor assembly processes and equipment.
Qualifications1. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electromechanical Engineering.
2. The candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in developing manufacturing processes.
3. Excellent communication skills in professional English, both oral and written.
4. Must have United States of America VISA and Passport available.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
6. Strong problem-solving skills.
7. Skills in Autocad, Quality tools (Process Capabilities), Teamcenter, Project management, Microsoft Office
8. Basic Statistical skills and drawing interpretation
9. Acknowledge in 6 sigma disciplines
10. Experience with Quality Standards and Regulations.
11. Experience in Purchase Orders generation and follow up to invoice payment.
12. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
13. Strong organizational and time management skills.
14. Flexibility to work extended hours as required.
