This role is part of the Global Technology and Engineering Center (GTEC). The activities of this role are primarily focused on engineering design, customer documentation, bills of material, manufacturing drawings, and customer specification revisions. The incumbent performs engineering design activities on time, in accordance with quality requirements, preparation of specific order documents, and job-related calculations.Responsibilities:Take ownership of engineering activities.Collaborate with BU's and GTEC Engineers to improve Customer Satisfaction and Employee Engagement.Have strong collaboration with the project team.Follow engineering best practices and Flowserve standards.Work with other Design Engineers to promptly investigate and resolve shop floor problems relating to design or quality issues; record and report findings, make corrections, and help develop and implement permanent, cost-effective solutions.Create design drawings and other documents with the help of CAD tools.Generate bills of material and manufacturing drawings for engineered products.Identify new/improved design standards and procedural documents.Responsible for identifying upgrade opportunities for processes and products.Provide technical support to internal and external customers.Deliver on-time engineering deliverables.Meet project timelines for engineering documentation and gather approvals at the first issue.Ensure customer satisfaction, accuracy, and timeliness of customer documentation.Requirements:Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related engineering discipline.0 - 2 years of related experience.Understanding of engineering documentation, drafting, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing.Basic English verbal and written skills.Skills:Creative thinker, vibrant, good team player, and problem solver.Demonstrated decision-making skills.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Good engineering subject knowledge.Detailed knowledge of engineering products, design principles, and processes.Team collaboration.Collaborative interpersonal skills.Analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills.Good planning, time management, and organizational skills.Respect Flowserve values and Code of Conduct.Communicate professionally and with accepted business etiquette.#J-18808-Ljbffr
