.Experienced Professional**Purchasing and CommodityManager Electrical Equipment****LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU****Your Profile**- University Degree in Business, InternationalBusiness, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or degree in Engineering, withstrong preference in Industrial Engineering.- Professional Experience (minimum 5 years) withleadership experience with strong knowledge in at least one of the fields - StrategicProcurement, Commodity Management, Strategy Consulting.- Technical Knowledge in Advanced NegotiationConcepts, e-Auctions, Contract Negotiations.- Advanced Business English is mandatory,German is desired but not mandatory (at professional working proficiency level).Must submit English Resumes for consideration.- Willingness to travel domestically andinternationally up to 30% of time.- Experience in Electrical parts and systems suchas Automation, Measurement equipment and Cabinets.- Soft Skills- Experience in successfully managing a teamincluding recruiting, selection, training and promoting team members.- Strong oral and written communication andpresentation skills.- Advanced Negotiation experience withexpertise managing Long Term Contracts and negotiating complex terms andconditions.- Strong working knowledge of manufacturingtechniques and processes for assigned commodity.- Excellent change management skills anddemonstrated ability to lead change.**Your Responsibilities**- In this role you will have a dualfunction: Manage the Commodity Managersthat will be based in our Queretaro facility and lead the Commodity Managementactivities for Electrical equipment for the Transformation of Industry BusinessArea.- Engage with local and global stakeholderswithin the commodities to which they are assigned - Automation, Measurement,Instrument & Testing, Cabinets and Low Voltage Switchgears, Power Supplies,etc.- Lead cross-functional commodity teams and circles.- Develop comprehensive strategies thatsupport Siemens Energy business objectives.- Lead specific supplier relationshipsfulfilling the accountabilities of the Supplier Relationship Leader.- Responsible for the creation and/ordeployment of Cost Models for designated commodities/services/products and thedevelopment and delivery of the agreed financial commitments.- Responsible for developing the relevantcommodity and parent and/or vendor level supplier strategies and of theirexecution.- Facilitate category teams and developcollaborative, trusting relationships with stakeholders.- Implement processes and programs to drivecontinuous improvement.- Utilize market data, supplier risk analysisand company's strategic direction to develop and implement long term commoditystrategy.- Visit suppliers as necessary to analyzefacilities and processes, negotiate pricing, quality, and lead-times, whichlead to maintaining effective long-term supplier relationships.- Interface with various functional areassuch as Engineering, Quality and Finance to resolve problems associated withthe commodity
