With 'Homes' currently located in Mexico, Costa Rica, Morocco, USA, Saudi Arabia and Namibia, Habitas is expanding globally across LATAM, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Europe using its technology-driven approach and innovative vertically integrated model.**What the Role is**The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for handling purchasing functions maintaining an effective filing system and assisting in obtaining bids for hotel supplies.**Main Duties & Responsibilities**- Adhering to the procurement policy and procedures- Creating purchase ord- ers in the Purchasing module- Sending purchase orders to vendors and placing orders online- Following up with each program to ensure receipt of all packing slips for each order- Ensuring the timely order flow through the Purchasing department- Providing purchase order documentation to the Accounts Payable department to process payment- Maintaining appropriate vendor and bidding files- Completing monthly credit card reconciliations- Reviewing trends of repeat purchase items; find vendors that can accommodate the needs at a better cost- Assisting in evaluating historical purchasing data in order to accommodate better purchasing- Assisting in issuing solicitations for competitive bids or proposals- Providing recommendations on new or alternative quality products suitable for the agency's activities**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree desirable, or a high school diploma with equivalent relevant work experience.- At least two years procurement experience preferred- Presentation skills- Team spirit- Time management skills- 2 years similar experience- Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings- Excel skillsTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: Hasta $19,900.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horas
