Purchasing Coordinator

**Summary**:
To support the purchasing buyers and department, material planners, R&D and other functions as needed.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Maintain ERP systems as it relates to Purchasing
- Enter blanket purchase order information
- Add new parts and update GLAPPS relating to the new parts
- Maintain the approved supplier list on the purchasing portal site
- Maintain all supplier information in Microsoft Dynamics and GLAPPS
- Maintain supplier documentation in GLAPPS
- Submit Supplier Requirement Handbook to all new suppliers and existing suppliers
- Add new suppliers to Microsoft Dynamics and GLAPPS
- Process and arrange with our suppliers return of product that has been rejected
- Maintain the Country of Origin portal site, as well as request missing COO information from our suppliers
- Update systems and scan supplier documentation relating to approved GCI projects
- Code UPS bills
- Order large samples from our suppliers for our sample department
- Back up coverage for pricing requests
- Back up coverage for logging invoice discrepancies
- Performs special projects as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Bilingual (Spanish & English)
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.
or B.S.).
- Highly skilled in use of Powerpoint, Excel, Word and other commonly used computer programs.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills.
