.Purpose Statement: Lead Customs and Trade activities for MX Custom's operational processes and execution for Guadalajara Design Center. Lead in the implementation for complying with trade compliance regulatory requirements for Mexico. Responsible for the order fulfillment procurement execution of assigned goods and services in accordance with the quality, delivery and pricing expectations of the Guadalajara Design Center and Plexus Corp. customers.Key Job Accountabilities:- Responsible for Machinery & Equipment Inventory Control for customs/taxes proposes.- Responsible for the creation and supervision of import and export expenses report exclusively for Mexico operations including purchase orders for non-projects expenses.- Tariff Classification an estimation costs for import/export/taxes Mexico operations.- Responsible of reviewing packing list and commercial invoices captured in ZOE.- Respond to both internal and external customer request in support of operational needs. Resolve shipment exceptions including customs issues. Resolve problems, both internal and external, in a timely and satisfactory fashion. Strive to exceed customer expectations.- Responsible for order request of materials in accordance with the guidelines set forth by Plexus management and the customer's contract (i.E. Plexus Services America (PSA), Manufacturing Services America (MSA), etc.) in terms of Approved Vendor List (AVL) adherence, unit price, quality and delivery.- Responsible of the qualification vendor process execution and administration, only for AMER region.Additional Accountabilities:- Perform and prepare documents for imports/exports and record keeping.- Support in cross dock reports and follow up goods in Third Party Logistic (3Pl's - Laredo).- Ability to work independently and determine priorities that positively impact Plexus compliance programs. Negotiate lead-time constraints with suppliers to negate missed commitment dates.- Review all delivery issues and take appropriate corrective action to avoid schedule impact.- General knowledge of Post Automated Export System (AES) filing Review.- Negotiate lead-time constraints with suppliers to negate missed commitment dates.- Manage and solve PO Purchase Price Variance (POPPV) issues.- Generate reports (CAM, NAFTA, and Chapter 98).- Manager and resolve Early Warning receipts in allotted time frame; analyze, understand anddrive continuous improvements to materials metrics for assigned area.- Additional duties as assigned.Education/Experience Qualifications:- A minimum of a Bachelor degree is required.- 3 years of related experience is required; 4 years of related experience is preferredAn equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.Other Qualifications:- Language skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or general regulations
