- Lead/support commercial negotiations with suppliers, coordinating with Commercial purchasing and Project purchasing teams.
- Handle and lead Request For Quotation Containers (RFQC's) efficiently.
- Ensure competitive price levels, high-quality products, and reliable deliveries from suppliers.
- Manage Supplier relationships and formulate Supplier strategy, including supplier development or consolidation.
- Select suppliers and negotiate favorable purchase conditions.
- Oversee capacity management, contract management, and supply chain risk management.
- Encourage the development process on the supplier side.
- Drive cost reduction activities and implement cost-out initiatives.
- Continuously develop and refine the localization strategy in collaboration with the project purchasing team.
**Qualifications**
- **Education**: VI - VII level of degree with a technical background (mechanics, industrial organization) and an economic background (Higher technical education).
- **Experience**: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- **Skills**: Advanced/Strong negotiation skills, persuasion, and outstanding communication skills.
- **Personality**: Teamwork orientation, perseverance, curiosity to learn, proactive, and initiative-taking approach.
- **Abilities**: Strong organizational skills, stress resistance, and excellent analytical abilities with great attention to detail and quality.
- **Language Proficiency**: English language knowledge (both written and spoken). Knowledge of German or Spanish is an advantage.
- **IT Skills**: Practical knowledge of standard software packages, including MS Office and SAP.
- **Travel**: Willingness to travel up to 15% of working time.
