Purchasing Lead

Eaton's IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Purchasing Lead.What you'll do:Job SummaryAnalyze, negotiate, and execute the acquisition of raw material for the company, assuring timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery from the supply base. Perform according to the company commercial policies and internal control, managing the supply to operations and maintaining the correct balance in terms of cash flow. Develop cost reduction and lean initiatives through pricing, make vs buy, and re-localization.Primary Responsibilities:Execute MRP orders to purchase order placement and follow up with suppliers until delivery in receiving, managing the improvement of OTD supplier performance.Resolve conflicts related to prices, payments, and discrepancies with moderate complexity. Expedite overdue purchase orders and obtain authorizations to change suppliers.Maintain updated knowledge of applicable regulations for the purchase and transportation of national and international materials.Document quoting according to internal control policy.Work on lean initiatives and cost reduction projects, improving flow by localizing suppliers and sourcing activity.Follow up on MRB flow and resolution.Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:Effective planning and organization skills.Good analytical and negotiation skills.Effective procurement skills.Outstanding problem-solving skills.Excellent written & verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.Results-oriented.Demonstrated knowledge of MRP.Lean-oriented.Education/Previous Experience Requirements:Professional degree.More than 7 years' experience.Advanced level of English fluency.APICS desirable.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
